Taking its title from Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dalí’s short movie, the work incorporates surrealist floating aspects similar to that of ‘Dali’, also part of Meraki. The sculpture seeks to capture the essence of
canine charm with a cobalt hue that breathes life into its form. With human representations of affection, the tangible and surreal coalesce into a harmonious tableau. The juxtaposition of the human hand
symbolizes the connection between creator and creation, connceting the artwork with the title of the exhibition: Meraki.
